surroundings clean. Germs
live in dirty places and dirty
things.
 That is why it is important to
make sure that your home and
surrounding are clean.
Below are some ways to keep your surrounding
clean:
o Throw garbage in the trash can.
Do you help keep you home free from
garbage?
o Clean your backyard. Do not let flies and
mosquitoes that carry germs enter your
house.

healthy habits and practices.
Below are some things we can do to have a
healthy lifestyle:
o Eat a balance diet that includes food such
as rice, fish, meat, vegetables. and fruits.

o Avoid junk food such as chips, soda, and
candies.

o Drink at least eight glasses of water a day.
How many glasses of water do you
drink every day?
Below are some things we can do to have a
healthy lifestyle:
o Sleep for eight to ten hours at night.

o Have time to play outside and enjoy the
sunshine.

o Avoid too much playing with the computer
and watching television.

 A doctor or dentist knows
when you are sick or healthy.
They know what germs make
you sick.
 They can tell you what
medicine to take to kill the
germs in our body.
Below are some ways we can do during
checkup to prevent diseases:
o Get complete immunization to protect you
from certain diseases.
Have you been immunized?
o See your doctor for regular check up.
When was the last time you saw your
doctor for a checkup?
o See your dentist at least twice a year.
Did you get a dental checkup this
year?
You can prevent common
childhood diseases if you
practice proper hygiene,
maintain environmental
sanitation, maintain a
healthy lifestyle, and get
regular checkups.
