Definition and explanation of “ANALYTICAL
EXPOSITION” in english sentences

Exposition text is devided into two namely


hortatory exposition and analytical exposition,
a little discuss about hortatory exposition,
Hortatory exposition is an exposition text that
serves to persuade or convince the reader of
something that is happening. In this material
we will take turns examining thoroughly obout

The purpose of text exposition
The main objective in Analytical Exposition Text is to try
to convince the reader that the topic presented is an
important topic to be discussed or get attention by
giving an argument or opinion that supports the main
idea or topic. In Analytical Exposition Text does not
only contain one argument, but can contain several
arguments that have the same purpose. You can find
examples easily in news editors, ad text /
advertisement, pamphlets, and so on
The purpose is to persuade the reader or the speaker by
presenting arguments so they will agree and follow the

# Thesis: Introducing the topic and indicating the writer’s point of view.

The linguistic rules of exposition text
• Writing analytical exposition text using simple present tense.
• Use words that express the writer's thoughts or feelings, for
example: experience, feel, know, realize, sense, think, etc.
• Using internal conjunction is a conjunction that connects arguments
between two clauses. Internal conjunctions can be divided into four
categories, namely (1) addition (example) besides, in addition,

Maintain Cleanliness of the School
Environment
• Thesis:
Cleanliness of the school environment is one of several
important factors to create comfort in the school
environment and surroundings. Every school always
teaches students to maintain cleanliness.
Quite often a lot of school clean-up competitions are
held to attract students to care about hygiene. Some
ways can be done to maintain environmental
cleanliness such as taking out the trash in its place,
erasing the blackboard, sweeping the classroom.
• Argument:
In class the usual distribution of pickets per day is done to maintain
cleanliness, the picket officer usually does the task of sweeping,
erasing the blackboard, and preparing the teacher's stationery.
On Friday all class members do voluntary work cleaning the school
after the first lesson is over. One of the benefits is to make the
relationship between students and students as well as teachers and
students more intimate.

• Reaffirmation:
Cleanliness of the school environment is inseparable from school life
and is an important factor in achieving a comfortable teaching and
learning process. Cleanliness of the school environment also
guarantees a person's cleanliness and health. So that cleanliness is a
human endeavor so that the environment remains healthy,
maintained continuously.
