CORONAVIRUS(COVID-

19)
What is covid-19?
• -covid-19 is a ongoing pandemic communicable disease. It is caused
by a member of the coronavirus family that has never been
encountered before. It has transferred from animal to human body. It
was first identified I Wuhan,China on December,2019.Now a days,It
has spread in 192 countries.(WHO)
Symptoms of Covid-19
The most common symptoms of Covid-19 are fever, tiredness and a dry cough. Some
patients may also have a runny nose, sore throat, congestion and aches and pains or
diarrhea,muscle pain
Causes Of Covid-19
• The primary method of spread remains unknown, and we are still learning how it
spread but it is during close contact, and according to the CDC, thought to be via
respiratory droplets.[9] These are produced when people cough, sneeze, or
exhale. Close contact is within 1 to 2 meters. Respiratory droplets may also be
produced during breathing. It may also spread when one touches a contaminated
surface and then their face. While there are concerns it may spread via feces, this risk
is believed to be low.
• It is most contagious when people are symptomatic, although spread may be possible
before symptoms appear this risk is very low.The CDC states that the virus "seems to
be spreading easily and sustainably in the community in some areas. The
European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), as of March 24th, notes
that there is not enough information available to know how easily and sustainably the
disease spreads, but one person generally infects two to three others. The virus can
remain infectious for hours to days on surfaces such as door handles. Specifically the
virus was infectious for up to three days on plastic and stainless steel, for one day on
cardboard, and for up to four hours on copper. This however varies based on the
humidity and temperature. The virus appear to be mainly spread via respiratory
droplets and not through the air.(Wikipedia)
How many people have been affected
According to WHO(World Health Organization), more than 350000 people have
been infected in more than 190 countries. There have been over 15000 deaths
globally and 4300 of those deaths have occurred China, where the coronavirus
was first recorded in the city of Wuhan. Italy has been hardest hit, though, with
over 5,400 fatalities. Many of those who have died had underlying health
conditions, which the coronavirus complicated. In Bangladesh,33 people have
infected and 3 of them died.
