INTRODUCTION
Literature Review
Pre-strain can increased the hardness, yield strength, and tensile strength, but lowers the
percentage of elongation.
Many kind of welding methods, the type of material, form of the weld structure (etc.) result
in the shrinkage of the welding process, and it is difficult to overcome.
The creep strain rate and ductility of hot rolled sheet plate was more greater when
compared to AISI 316 is undergoing a process of annealing.
Kumar, et al. 1991
Shape, orientation, and grain size of microstructure can be use to determine the
mechanical properties and also defect inside of materials
Cold rolling process followed by strain annealing on 575°C and 675°C will increase twin
fraction and decrease the grain size of materials.
Tensile Test:
10 ton capacity servo-hydraulic universal testing machine (model: SHT 4106) using cross
head velocity of 15mm/min at the room temperature of approximately 300K
Etched Solution:
2,5% HNO3 and 97,5% aquaes
