    Expository Essay
    • An expository essay is a genre of
    writing which tends to explain,
    illustrate, clarify, or explicate
    something in a way that it becomes
    clear for readers
    • It could be an investigation,
    evaluation, or even argumentation
    about an idea for clarification.
    Types of Expository Essay
    • Descriptive Essay – Describes something,
    some place, some experience or some
    situation through sensory information
    • Process Essay – Explains or shows a process
    of making or doing something
    • Comparison Essay – Makes comparison and
    contrast between two things
    • Cause/ Effect Essay- Finds out the cause of
    something and then its effects on
    something else

    What are the
    effects of social
    media among the
    youth?
    Cellphones, TV, Computer and internet these
    are just one of the things that people are so
    hooked into their lives. These play a big role
    especially among the youths. Social networks such
    as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more can be
    useful to many ranging from educational purposes
    and communication with far away friends and
    relatives. A lot of positive impacts with the usage
    of this social media but their will always be
    disadvantages. Although these can be used as a
    pro, but the cons are having the lack of social
    skills, bullying and outweigh the positive. But what
    do media do to the? To us? To our lives?
    A negative impact of social media is that it
    meddles with the advancement and nature of
    one's social collaborations. Individuals regularly
    state that they know somebody yet in all actuality,
    they just realize their internet based life accounts.
    The media gives a misguided feeling of connection
    among others and along with that they regularly
    overlook or are not instructed to socially
    collaborate with others. One out of five teenagers
    state that they want to message somebody
    instead of to physically converse with them.
    "Social interaction is needed to develop skills in
    understanding the emotions of other people.” (Wolpert
    8). This quote clarifies how the fundamental requirement
    for knowing and having social aptitudes are important to
    comprehend others. At the point when individuals don't
    have these skills, they can't discuss appropriately with
    others. Innovation is diminishing the capacity for others to
    connect and convey, which is exceedingly fundamental in
    this day and age. One reason that the negative impacts of
    online networking exceed the positive is a direct result of
    the fundamental human basics like social aptitudes are
    being lost through the huge measure of innovation and
    utilization of informal organizations.
    In line with this, Cyber bullying is also a negative effect
    of social media. This kind of bullying is when a person
    uses an electronic device to bully another person usually
    with intimidating or threatening nature. A certain person
    once said “ Cyber bullying is Bullying Hiding behind a
    pretty screen, doesn’t make it less hateful, written words
    have power”. Which means bullies that exist online also
    exist in the real world. Also that even this is another type
    of bullying it will hurt less. 90% of teens having at least
    one social media cite, the chances of cyber bullying
    occurring are immensely high. Everyday that will pass by
    more and more teen are experiencing cyber bullying
    mostly social medias. This is only one of many
    disadvantages that come from the use of social media.
    While social networking sites are a useful tool in
    our increasingly connected world, they can also
    adversely affect our development and the nature of
    our social interactions and are increasing chances of
    cyber bullying to occur. The discussion is not all about
    the members of the current generations who have
    grown up with the internet. It is about future
    generations where the internet is used as a primary
    source of communication, the focal center of school
    work and research, the main source of entertainment
    and primary medium for the development of
    contemporary issues. It is up to us if we will use these
    social medias in either positive or negative ways.
