This document discusses mashing up Shakespeare's plays "Romeo and Juliet" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" because they both explore the theme of love and its blinding effects. Specifically, it notes that both plays involve heroines who do not want to marry their parents' choices and instead want to choose their own love. It also says the mash up will portray the quote "Love is blind" through the relationship between Titania and Bottom in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", with the fairy queen falling for the cat-faced man.
