through the cosy local restaurants and terraces to the sea. Have a taste of the best local
delights, and head to La Buqueria market, where you can find the most delicious fresh fruits
and foods.

 GAUDI BUILDINGS
You may find numerous traces of Antoni Gaudí's marvelous architecture and his ty pical, unique approach to the art nouveau movement. Many of his building became the part of UNESCO world heritage. His most famous creations are Park Güell, the palace of Güell family (Palau Güell), the Casa Batlló ho use, the most exquisite representation of the Catalan art nou veau, the 'Modernisme' and the church still under construction, the La Sagrada Familia.

 LAS RAMBLAS
The 1.2-kilometre long promenade is actually made by the fusion of 5 individual s treets, from the Placa de Cataluny a to the old harbor, where the statue of Cristop her Colombus stands. Span ish poet, Frederico García Lorca wrote about the promenade: this is the only street in the world, where he wishes it would never end. Nowaday s, tourists make the promenade crowded all day , but it's a must-see place for every visitor.

 BARRI GOTIC, THE GOTHIC QUARTER


The historical quarter streches between the area of Las Ramblas and Via Laietena. Several build ings were built dur ing the Midd le Ages here, but it also includes memories from the Roman times. Don't miss to visit the stu nning Pon t del Bisbe, wh ich crosses the s treet uniting bu ildings on either side, the City Hall or the Presidential Palace during y our stay .

The best solution for going around the city! Beach is accessible by line L4. If you plan to use
public transport more than 5 times, it's worth buying the T-10 ticket, containing 10 journeys.
