CONSTRUCTION OF COVERED COURT STATUS REPORT

(as of March 31, 2018)

The proposal for the construction of covered court in front of the school stage had been successfully
presented and supported by stakeholders during the 2nd General Parent-Teacher-Community Association
(GPTCA) Assembly last August 2017. As the project entails substantial amount to complete, said project
had been approved to be included in the school’s continuous improvement (CI) project. A pledge for support
had been solicited to the SPG, GPTCA, and the Barangay Council through the endorsement of Brgy.
Kagawad Teodora Bobis, Committee Chair on Education.

The call for fund raising activities to generate the seed fund for
the project was presented. The activity proposal to conduct the
Search for Little Mr. & Ms. United Nations 2017 was approved
and supported by the GPTCA and the SPG. The SPG became the
partnered school organization to spearhead the said fund raising
activity. The mechanics was laid down and agreed upon. The
GPTCA also pledged to support the project and proposed for
another fund raising (Pa-Bingo Bonanza) by December of 2017.

The search was able to generate Php35, 000 for the project and
the Pa-Bingo also raised a total of Php 8,484.00 giving a total of
Php 43, 484 working fund. The generated amount from the two
fund raising activities was used to buy the materials needed to
jumpstart the construction and the payment for labor.

Due to the delay in the delivery of the construction materials and

the availability of workers, the construction was able to start in
February of 2018. The amount was able to purchase required
materials to cover the six (6) concrete posts and beam.

To date, the project still needs the amount to

complete the remaining four posts, beams, and
roofing of the covered court. Support from LGU
is on the list as the barangay council have already
pledged to forward a request for assistance
through a barangay resolution.

The partial accomplishment of the project is still

a big help for the upcoming Graduation cum
Recognition Program as the GPTCA prepared the
area for the event.
