Optimized Properties,
Highest Quality
Protection steel has to be reliable. Ramor is a material of unique blast protection and ballistic
resistance, but also high formability, making it suitable for a wide variety of security uses.

* Impact resistance, formability, and customized solutions

This ultimate combination is achieved with our unique production process, which also
guarantees a high, unchanging level of quality.
Superior surface quality
through direct quenching
Our perfected manufacturing process includes a unique method of
quenching that guarantees superior surface quality. In addition to
hardness and strength, direct quenching is essential in creating enhanced
uniformity, formability, flatness, and dimensional accuracy.
Blast protection and ballistic resistance

We are the forerunner in direct impact protection. The uniform

structure of Ramor is unique, providing enhanced durability and
protection.

While protection steels in general withstand isolated blows,

Ramor stands out with its unparalleled multi-hit resistance.

* Superior measures that meet the most demanding requirements

Processing Ramor ®

Ramor is a highly ductile material, which can be found serving a

wide range of end purposes. It is designed to be easily formable
and weldable. If bent, machined and cut correctly, Ramor retains
its excellent ballistic properties, even at cut edges.
Common Applications
