Introduction

King of Kampung Kemensah is part of the King Series (2nd in the circuit after King of Bukit
Larut). Kemensah itself is located in Ulu Kelang. It already popular with jungle track with
some river crossings and crazy elevation.

As part of Malaysia history, part of the game route are connected with Genting Bidai which
stated in history as “Legend Track” where ancient people / local warrior used to cross and
move between Selangor and Pahang during the old days. During the British and Japanese
era, they are using the same route to cross between these 2 states.

This game will run across the nearest and biggest green area in Klang Valley. We are getting
magnificent support from local and international runners. We have 5KM, 10KM, 18KM,
30KM and 50KM categories. This year we are having the biggest number of International
runner from the past 3 editions.

Another milestone for this game, for the past 2 years it has been recognized by World Ultra
Trail Organization as one of their qualification games. This games is one of the “total trail”
event we have in Malaysia.

Trail Ethic

We urge you to follow below some ethical rules when running in the trail:
a. If you are running/walk in a slow pace, give way to people from behind you. Just make way and give
fast runner to pass you. Don't block others or go too slow.
b. If you are going in a fast pace, do gives signal to front people. Just say something to them like, "Give
way", "Excuse Me", "Air panas.. Air Panas“ etc.. and front people just make way and give people to pass
you. Do this in proper place, don't do this at any downhill or narrow area.
c. At any narrow area or climbing always give people coming down or from the front to use the route 1st.
d. Look after each other, after all it is not about medal or winning. If you see any injured runners/people
or those in trouble please help to give 1st hand aid.
e. Don't throw any rubbish in the trail. Do help to drop you gel plastic/food plastic/anything related to the
nearest check point or bring it out from the trail with you. If you see any runner doing such behaviour
(littering), do help to snap a picture of the rubbish and bib number and report to us, or just tell the person
to pick up back the rubbish, or help to pick up for them.

Other Info
1. Bring Your Own Bottle
We are implementing Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) format to avoid such violation to the trail. We will
not provide any paper cup at each water station. You will require to bring your own
bottle/cup/hydration beg all the way along the track. We will also agreed to DQ any participant that
catch throwing any rubbish all the way the trail. We try to create awareness that organizer and
participant of any race should be responsible for all the rubbish created in the game. Seems running
should be a way to make us healthy mentally and physically, so lets together make our trail clean and
remain as it is for mother nature.

2. Timing System
We will have automatic timing system at specific check point and we also deploy manual system at all u-
turn point. So make sure to pick up the ribbon provided by the volunteer.
