The YORK YCUA/YDF Air-Cooled split units are designed for light commercial application, capable of providing cooling in ambient
temperature from 15 °C DB to 46 °C DB, with unit capacity range of 60~250 MBH (5~20 R Tons)

Cabinet
- The cabinet is constructed of heavy gauge galvanized steel, which provides a rigid structure.
- All YCUA units exposed external surfaces are coated with silk grey backed polyester based paint, providing
high-corrosion resistance.
- The internal components are easily accessible by removing the access panel.
Compressor
- Single speed winding, scroll compressor of fully sealed hermetic type, equipped with suction vapor cooled windings,
crankcase heater and internal line break motor protection.
- The compressor is also equipped with internal suspension system to eliminate noise and vibration.
Air-Cooled Condenser
- The Condenser Coils are of 3/8” OD seamless copper tubes arranged in staggered rows, mechanically expanded
into die-formed coated aluminium fins. The maximum design working pressure of the coil is 350 psig.
- The condenser fan is of high efficiency propeller type, direct driven by 3 phase, IP55, class F insulation condenser
motor.
Refrigerant circuit
- Single refrigerant circuit designs, with external copper piping and brazed joints.
- The unit is pressure-tested, evacuated and fully charged with Nitrogen gas (N2), and includes an initial oil charge. After
assembly, an operational test is performed to ensure the refrigerant circuit is operating correctly.
Control
- Crankcase heater, manual reset High-Low pressure cut-out switch, to guard against compressor damage due to high
discharge head pressure and system leakage.
Starter
- Direct on line (DOL) starter as standard.
Accessories
- Hot-gas bypass valves, compressor sound jacket, condenser coil with copper fin are available as options.
