    Toxic relationship of US-CHINA-PHILIPPINES

    Philippines-United States relationship are bilateral, republic of the Philippines is former colony of
    United States of America. The both country have a special relationship because the Philippines is one
    of the oldest Asian partners of US. United States and Philippines have a mutual defense treaty that
    since 1952. Under President Benigno Aquino III forged closer military ties with the US to deal with
    China threat but when President Rodrigo Duterte elected he needed to heal relations with China rather
    than to continue President Aquino started.
    United States of America-Republic of China, the relationship of China-United States each nation has
    been known as the world leaders and academics as the world’s most important bilateral relationship
    of the century. United States has the world’s largest economy and China is the second largest as of
    2018. China and the United States have mutual political, economic, and security interests. China is
    the largest foreign creditor of the United States.
    China-Philippines relationship progressively improved over the years. However, the two countries
    have conflicts because of the South China Sea dispute. Philippines has been rapidly improving
    relations and cooperating with China. China-Philippines is developing a much stronger and stables
    ties and the rest of ASEAN.
    China and Philippines are have the most toxic relationship. The issue about the South China Sea
    because many countries are claiming Spratly Islands. China, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and
    Vietnam, concerning "ownership" of the Spratly Islands. Because Spratly Island are important for
    economic and strategic reasons. It is productive are for world fishing, have natural gas, reserves of
    oil. And Russia, Philippines and China are having a good relationship in this recently year because
    Duterte wants to have economically purposes with this two countries. Philippines has never really
    been a significant defense partner for Russia in the past because Philippines decades alliance with
    US. But Russia-Philippines military ties have been good over the past year as President Duterte.
    In the next 10 years, I think that the countries that claiming the Spratly island will not give up. even
    Philippines and China have a good relationship. But I hope in the next 10 years the countries that
    claiming Spratly Island know that Spratly Island belongs to the Philippines.
