● Looking at new research on APIDA communities to bring back information to my campus community
to support those students on campus.
● Gain experience in direct supervision of both students and full-time staff.

Obtain a position in California or within the greater Seattle area
Practice healthy mind and body: Gym, counseling, and utilizing vacation time

● Find ways to be a part of the student conduct review board at the institution
● Stay up-to-date with societal impacts that affect students and educate myself through professional
development.

areas of oversight
2020 Apply for leadership/regional leadership positions within affinity student affairs groups (i.e. NASPA
APIKC)
Seek opportunities’ to develop stronger public speaking and workshop facilitation skills
2021- ● Present a proposal to present at local or national conference (i.e. NASPA, APAHE, or NODA) around
APIDA student and staff
2022 ● Consider/apply for mid-level positions (Assistant/Associate Director)
● Cultivate meaningful relationships across campus and establish allies to work towards advancing
diversity, equity and inclusion across campus.
● Seek professional opportunities to develop skills in crisis management and prevention
