Some time ago I had posted an article showing how to create a

smoke effect in photoshop, and to achieve that I used a photo
of smoke and some photoshop filters. However, some people
had said at the time that I should have done the smoke as well
and it´s exactly what I will show on this post right now.
I had previously thought about what would be the best way to create smoke in
photoshop, and I’ve read some tutorials online and watched some episodes of the
amazing pixelPerfect podcast, to find a good and easy solution for the matter at hand.
Actually it was easier than I had expected.
1 - Create some Shapes: I created some random shapes.
2 - Apply a Gaussian blur on each shape

Short Version
Set a feather with a high value, like 40 to 80, and after that apply the hue/saturation on the cloud

The gradient will give a atmosphere and more depth to the image

The whole process took me about 30 to 40 minutes tops, it’s pretty simple, although it
can be quite hard to create a natural smoke with the liquify filter, the best thing to do is
to play with the brushes and with the tools to achieve the desired effect.

For what it's worth I don't mind that you didn't go into super detail on every step
like some people have complained that you haven't. Many of these steps (like
Lasik Surgery how to use layer styles) require the user to have prior knowledge and everyones

I will not enter in math subjects, but I can say in an intuitive way: the result miss

usually has it even more.
Clouds have not exactly the same math properties smoke has, but here you can

All though I am new to Photoshop, I was a paint shop pro user. I could figure out
the tutorial. So to all who are complaining so much, you just aren't ready for this
tut yet. You need to go to the adobe site, they have tutorials for those who just
got the program. It shouldn't take you too much time to get good at the program
if you put as much energy into learning it as you do to insulting people. Use
google to look up easy tutorials.

sent me some emails telling me that they had to apply restrictions to my ip
because of the massive number of simultaneous visits.
Also, I've read that some people are saying that I didn't deeply explain some
steps and the tutorial is not for beginners. In order to satisfy those I will publish a
