Want to take a walk?

There are a number of folks

walking partner. Are you
interested? What a great way
to get out and get to know
one another! Call the church
office for more information.

We want to do everything that we can to

have our worship gathering be a place
where we glorify God and grow together.
This Sunday we will be studying:
Luke 1:14 (Luke chapters 1 and 2)
This Sunday we will be singing:
Go Tell It On The Mountain
O Come All Ye Faithful
Joyful Joyful We Adore You
O Little town of Bethlehem
Hark the Herald Angels Sing

During the Thanksgiving break the team went to work on

stage 1, which included painting the closets and adding
rustic wood accents to help create texture and frame the
stage area. Thanks to Bruce Henrikson, Frank Howard
and George Williams!
Sunday after church the team met again to finalize stage
2, which is to run wood up the center of the worship area
to add texture and break up the massive white space we
have. This is scheduled to happen over Christmas break.
Finally, the team is planning stage 3, which is to add
stone facing under the stage area and the bottoms of the
closets. What to help? See Bruce Henrikson.

Did you know that due to a lack of

funding in Champaign County there is
no cold weather shelter for our
brothers and sisters without
addresses in Champaign County?
We believe that it is the churchs
Biblical responsibility to take care of
the least of these by creating a place
for our brothers and sisters to go
when the temperatures fall.
Currently we are asking you to join us
in praying for our involvement with
other area churches in creating and
funding a January, February and
March, 7pm-7am cold weather shelter
that will provide a hot dinner, breakfast
and sack lunch for our brothers and
sisters without addresses.
The total cost is $28,500, divided
between 50 churches is $570, our
proposed total commitment for the 3
months. Please Pray!

Can you help make PB&Js

for the Canteen Run

21st? See Pastor Jason!
