    DESCRIPTION

    Nippon Bio-Glaze is a single-packed hygienic coating incorporating


    Polyurethane Dispersion (PUD) technology with excellent anti-bacterial and
    anti-fungal properties.

    TYPE

    One-pack water-based polyurethane for interior use

    COLOUR

    USES

    As a premium coating for protection of internal masonry wall surfaces.


    Mitigation of many varieties of bacteria including MRSA (MethicillinResistant Staphylococcus Aureus MRSA, Escherichia Coli E. Coli
    and Staphylococcus Aureus, SA) and fungi. Hence, it is especially
    recommended for use on:

    FEATURES

    Interiors of hospitals, operating theatres, clinics, nursing homes and


    other medical facilities.
    Interiors of food processing plants, restaurants and dining halls
    Interiors of schools, kindergartens, daycare and community centers

    Anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties


    Excellent washability
    Non-toxic as it does not contain heavy metals
    Water-based environmentally-friendly and low VOC
    Excellent flow and leveling properties

    APPLICATION DATA
    METHOD

    Roller or brush

    THEORETICAL COVERAGE

    Approx. 10 m /litre (Based on 40 microns DFT)

    DILUTION

    No dilution is necessary for best performance

    SURFACE PREPARATION

    Substrate should be clean, dry and stable before painting.


    Treat fungus-growth area with NIPPON ANTI-FUNGUS
    SOLUTION.
    Avoid painting when the humidity is more than 85%.

    Surface Dry 30 minutes at 30oC


    Hard Dry
    2 hours at 30oC

    OVERCOATING TIME

    2 hours based on normal conditions

    POST TREATMENT

    RECOMMENDED PAINTING
    SYSTEM

    1 coat of Nippon Vinilex 2000 Wall Sealer


    2 coats of Nippon Bio-Glaze
    (For severe hairline crack, an additional coat is highly recommended)

    CLEANING

    All equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use.

    SOLID CONTENT

    52.0 2.0% (Based on white colour)

    SPECIFIC GRAVITY

    1.25 0.05 (Based on white colour)

    PACKING

    5-litre and 20-litre

    STORAGE

    Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool dry place, away from heat
    source or ignition.

    SHELF LIFE

    Up to 18 months in a tightly sealed container.

    PRECAUTION

    Ensure good ventilation during application and drying of paint. Avoid


    direct contact with sensitive skin. Use appropriate personal protective
    equipment.
