Tardy Policy
Students will receive detention upon their third tardy to my class. The tardy count clears at the beginning of the new semester
(January).
Make-up Work
Students will be allowed five days to make up any work missed for an excused absence. After those five days, they receive a zero
in the gradebook. Students are responsible for asking for their make-up work and for scheduling a time before or after school to
complete any test, quiz, or performance task missed during their absence.
Late Work
If a student does not turn in an assignment on the assigned day, he/she has three days to get that assignment in for a penalty of ten
points per day. (If the assignment is due Monday, Tuesday the HIGHEST POSSIBLE GRADE is a 90, Wednesday the HIGHEST
POSSIBLE is an 80, Thursday the HIGHEST POSSIBLE is a 70, and the assignment will not be accepted on Friday or any later
date.)
