Updated 6/18/01 Page 3 of 19 Preface This document describes the method of using the Type II Vipros King Scheduler included with the Fanuc 18P control. The Type II Vipros King Scheduler allows up to 26 individual part programs, in desired quantities, to be run in sequence with no operator intervention. The procedure to use the Scheduler consists of the following steps. 1) Create the 9030 Macro program. 2) Install the 9030 Macro program in the Fanuc 18P control memory. 3) Load the desired G-code part programs in the Fanuc 18P control memory. 4) Set the Scheduler to run the required quantities of desired programs. 5) Run the Scheduler. FANUC 18P King Scheduler Operation Amada America Inc. Updated 6/18/01 Page 4 of 19 Creating the 9030 Macro Program The 9030 Macro program runs and controls the Fanuc 18P Scheduler. After the Scheduler has been configured with required part program numbers and sheet quantities the 9030 Macro program is selected and runs the programs in the scheduler. (See Setting the Scheduler page 14 for detailed procedure). The Following listing is the 9030 Macro program text. This text needs to be entered into the Fanuc 18P control as part program O9030 to allow the Fanuc 18P scheduler to work. (See Installing the 9030 Macro program page 5 for a detailed procedure describing how to load the 9030 Macro program from floppy disk). Using any text editor, enter the following code and save the file in text only format to a 3" floppy disk as file name O9030.txt. This floppy will be used to load the 9030 Macro program into the Fanuc 18P control memory. Note: There are currently 2 different versions of this program. This document describes the procedure for operating the version noted as "Modified by Swank". If the machine has a different version than the one below, it is recommended to upgrade to this version.
