Rant About Religion & Well Listen Mondays & Tuesdays 2-4 pm Hawks Landing in NECC Student Center

Listening Posts Pastor David hopes to have conversations with any St John's members who would like some time to share whatever you may choose. These conversations are called Listening Posts, and allow for people to share their feelings in the confidential setting of the pastors office. Other than a few questions that Pastor David will ask everyone who comes to visit, this time is one where your hopes, concerns, dreams and insights might be shared with him in a free fashion. These times slots are for thirty minutes each, and are suggested for one person or family group at a time. These conversations will help Pastor David to learn about St Johns in a less than formal manner: hopefully these conversations will be a help to members who desire to speak with Pastor David through a confidential time of conversation. Pastor will have a sheet with times at the office. Please contact the office to make a Listening Post appointment!

Gods Giggle Gang Clown Ministry

Gods Giggle Gang is comprised of Christians from a variety of denominations. The purpose of GGG is to spread the word of God in a different method as well as spreading joy in the world. During the Lenten season The Passion is presented to groups and churches in a serious and reverent method, unlike the type of clowning that is done throughout the rest of the year. This very moving pantomime and musical is a depiction of Christs crucifixion. Christ is represented by one white face clown. This well loved, often requested presentation is now in its 12th Lenten season. Join us for worship on Sunday, April 6 at the 11 AM service. You wont want to miss this opportunity!

Midland University Chamber Choir & Clef Dwellers will be singing @ St.
Johns on Friday, March 14 at 7 PM. A freewill offering will be collected to help defray travel costs. About 30-40 students will be staying in host homes on Friday evening. If you would be willing to house 2 or more students on Friday evening and provide breakfast on Saturday morning, please check todays registration slip and you will be contacted.

CELEBRATE WORLD DAY OF PRAYER Church Women United of Norfolk invites all persons of faith to celebrate the annual World Day of Prayer at First United Methodist Church, 406 Phillip Ave. on Friday, March 14 @ 1:30 pm. The women of Egypt call us to bridge those things that divide us. For more information, call 402-371-8164.
