Important Precautions
Avoid dropping the calculator and otherise subjecting it to severe impact.
Never try to take the calculator apart.
Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth to clean it.
Errors are cumulative with consecutive calculations that use the results of previous calculations.
Fine lines may be visible on the exterior of the calculator. These are weld lines that are the result
of the molding process used to produce plastic components, They do not indicate any defect and
do not affect operation of the calculator.

Power Supply
Two-Way Power System provides power even in complete darkness,
Always leave battery replacement up to an authorized dealer.
The battery that comes with this unit discharges slightly during shipment and storage. Because
of this, it may require replacement sooner than the normal expected battery life.
Auto How6l unc!lon
Auto power off: Approximately 6 minutes after last key operation.
Dual Display
The main display and sub display (Dual Display) can be used to perform separate and
independent calculations (arithmetic calculations, constant calculations, etc.)
Pressing loUACI displays the B indicator on the sub display, which indicates that sub display
calculation is active, At this lime, any result value currently on the main display as well as the
main display calculation status 8,CI,arithmetic operator, etc.) are retained. Pressing jDUCcj
again will cause the B indicator to disappear from the sub display to indicate that sub display
is inactive and that the main display is active. At this time the sub display calculation result value
only is retained.
Normally, you can use ( and ( to copy displayed values from one screen to another.
However, you cannot copy values in certain cases (such as when performing tax calculations or
constant calculations) when the sub display is being used to show values (such as the tax rate
or constant value) related to the calculation being performed on the main display.

A value on the sub display is not cleared if calculator power is turned off by Auto Power Off.
To clear a value from the sub display, press I DUA C I to make the sub display active ( Q
indicator displayed), and then press ;.
In this manual, any tire the contents of the main display and sub display are different from each
other: the main display will be shown on the left and the sub display on the right, When both
