SCHEDULE OF RATES

PREAMBLE : 1. This preamble is an integral part of the Schedule of Rates and any definition and explanation given herein shall have as much force as though they are incorporated into the description of the item themselves in the Schedule of Rates. Unless otherwise specifically stated in the contract all work under the contract shall be covered and paid for in accordance with the items and relative rates mentioned in the Schedule of Rates. The description given under the items of work in the Schedule of Rates shall be deemed to include wherever applicable mobilization of labour, equipments, materials, carriages, cartage, hoisting, setting, fitting and fixing in position of all material and equipment, disposal of wastages (including dewatering, de-sludging and allied operations at any stage of the work and all other labours and operations necessary whether specifically stated/implied or not, for the full and entire execution and completion of the relative works in all respects according to the contract. The description given under the items of work in the Schedule of Rates shall be deemed to include the relative provisions in the specifications and other contract documents for the execution of the works in accordance therewith and the instructions of the Engineer-In-Charge. The application details in the description of the items of works in the Schedule of Rates and those in the specifications regarding the all inclusive nature and coverage of works are only indicative and are by no means exhaustive. The rates quoted against each item of work in the Schedule of Rates shall be for the complete works, covering details not only enumerated thereon but all works of allied nature required for completion of the job according to the specification and instructions of the Engineer-In-Charge, whether or not they are specifically stated or implied. The Contractor shall quote rates for all items of work bearing in the Schedule of Rates whether or not any quantity is indicated against any particular item/items of works. In case no quantity is indicated against any particular item/items of work, only rates shall be quoted and no amount shall be indicated against particular item/items of work. Whether prejudice, to any other right(s) the Owner may have under this contract, the Owner reserves the right to operate any or all items of works appearing in the Schedule of Rates whether quantities are indicated or not against any particular item/items of work.

Analysis of Consumption pattern and suggesting steps that could be taken to eliminate leakage, wastage and inefficient use of Electrical Energy in the Electrical system and Equipments. All these particulars should be included in the Energy Audit Reports 11. Preparation of Detailed Energy Audit Reports subsequent to Energy Audit. Separate Audit Reports have to be prepared for i. Viramgam Pump Station, ii. SMPL Sidhpur Pump Station, and iii. MPPL/KSPL Sidhpur Pump Station. Scope of job also includes Submission of copies of the 03 nos Audit Reports to the Chief Electrical Inspector, Gandhinagar and forwarding respective copies of the same to IOCL Offices at Viramgam and Sidhpur Pump Stations, within one month of completion of the energy audit 12. Obtaining the Audit Report Acceptance Certificates for the 03 nos Audit Reports from the Chief Electrical Inspector, Gandhinagar, and forwarding espective copies of the same to IOCL Offices at Viramgam and Sidhpur Pump Stations, immediately following receipt of the same. Please note that all incidental and administrative expenses invoved in the site visit and audit work at Viramgam and Sidhpur Pump Stations such as to and fro transit charges, lodging and boarding, are to be borne by the contractor.
