This document provides assembly instructions for making a bird cage with a canary. It includes a list of materials needed and explanations of symbols used in the instructions. The instructions are as follows:
1) Cut out and assemble parts A1-D2 to form the base cage structure.
2) Add additional cage pieces and decorations, including curved pieces E1-E4.
3) Construct the canary figure and swing attachments from parts F1-F5 and H1-H4.
4) Finally, attach the canary assembly inside the completed cage. Precise folding, gluing, and positioning are required to construct the bird cage according to the diagrammed instructions.

Explanation of symbols
Scissors, glue, ruler, a used ball-point pen, tweezers
1) Cut out A1 ~ C2 and assemble each part. 2) Attach A1 ~ D2. Fold A1 and A2 in half and attach the back of each side together respectively. Glue the reverse sides of E1 and E2 together, and curve the pieces before the glue dries. Fold E3 in half, glue the back sides together and cut out the piece as shown. Attach E4 so that it covers up the cut on E3. Attach E4 to E1. Make two A1s, and four A2s. Make three each of these parts. For B1 and B2, fold back the top bumps and the bottom edge, and glue each part to the reverse side of the piece. *Do not glue down the glue tabs. Cut along the inside lines as shown. *Be careful not to cut the glue tabs. For C1 and C2, fold back the top bumps and glue them to the reverse side of the piece. Attach A1 and A2 to the back of D1 as shown. Stand the A1 and A2 parts up at right angles, and attach B1 and then B2. Put one C1 and one C2 together as a set, and glue them around A1/A2, attaching them to the glue spots. Only attach two C1/C2 sets. Attach the back side of D1 to the back side of D2. *Attach the two A1s opposite each other. *Keep one C1/C2 set aside. *Glue them together beginning in the center. 3) Cut out E1 ~ E4, and glue them together. *Put the E1 side face up. Bird Cage : Canary [Assembly Instructions] Assembly tip Trace along the folds with a ruler and a used pen (no ink) to get a sharper, easier fold. Caution: This craft requires the use of glue, scissors, and other tools which may be dangerous to young children. Please keep them out of reach of children while you work. You will need Valley fold (Dashed and dotted line) Scissors line (Solid line) Mountain fold (Dotted line) Glue tab Cut in line (Red solid line) Cutout Bird Cage Ring *Curl the areas near the glue tabs tightly. *Attach in order, starting with the tail. *Where to attach (approx) *Where to attach (approx) After adding curves to F3, assemble the piece as shown. Put glue on the back of the area of H3 marked , and attach together. Put glue on the area of the canary marked , and attach it to H2. Assemble F4 into a cone shape, put glue on the back of the area marked , and attach it to the spot marked "where to attach." After assembling the head part of F1, attach F1 to F2. Add curves to the tail and F3 as shown. As shown, insert H4 inside the slit on H3, and glue the reverse sides together. Add curves as shown, and glue together. Put glue on the back of the area of F3 marked , and attach it to the spot marked "where to attach." Fold F5 in half, glue together at the back and cut out along the inside lines. *Assemble G1 ~ G5 in the same way. Make two of these. *Face the longer slit downwards. 1) Attach the canary to the swings. *Positioning and angles are up to you. *Make H1 and the ring parallel. 2) Attach A1 and H1 together at the glue spots. 4) Finally, attach the remaining C1/C2 to the glue spots, and your bird cage is complete! Bird Cage : Canary [Assembly Instructions] Canary Swings Finish 1) Cut out F1 ~ F3, and add curves to each piece. 1) Cut out H1 ~ H4, and assemble them. 2) Assemble H1~ H4. 3) Attach E1 to the top of the cage, fitting it on from above. 2) Assemble F1 ~ F3. 3) Assemble F4 and F5, and attach to the canary.
