User friendly operation: With 30 years experience in the manufacture of UPS systems, MGE realizes user error accounts for a majority of UPS load drops. The Galaxy 3000s graphical user interface presents information, like operator instructions, in a clear and safe manner preventing unnecessary operator errors. Also depicted are alarm/event logs, mimic diagrams, and detailed system status information.

Galaxy 3000 with IGBT Rectifier Traditional UPS with Input Filter UPS without Input Filter
While a UPS provides clean power on the output, the rectifier used on their input reflects disturbances back on to the utility disturbing nearby devices that share the power. Even a UPS equipped with input filters dont ensure that some distortion wont be reflected onto the utility. The above chart shows that the Galaxy 3000s IGBT rectifier is the most effective technology for reducing reflected distortion, and does not require the hidden cost and energy consumption associated with an input filter.
Output
simply by bussing the output of the modules to share the load equally. If any module goes

System Maintenance Bypass
offline, the critical load is supported by the remaining modules. Should the remaining modules go offline, the critical load will automatically and seamlessly transfer to the utility via an internal module static bypass switch. Parallel intelligence resides in each module for true redundancy. MGE offers several versions of the system wrap-around bypass (SBC),

Choice B: Galaxy 3000 Single Module in an Isolated Redundant UPS system design
Isolated Redundant

offers unmatched flexibility. The basic concept of this design is to always provide clean, conditioned power to the critical load, never raw utility power, regardless of UPS shutdown
