Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research And Training Institute, Established in 1978 and made autonomous in 2008 by the Government of Maharashtra, is primarily for undertaking research and training on issues of the historically exploited communities, particularly the Scheduled Castes/Dalits leading to formulation of policies and programmes that will ensure them social justice. To conduct research into the various spheres of social Equality with a view to finding out how and in what manner the concept of social Equality could be achieved and could be made more effective. To train young people for improving their knowledge in all spheres of social science with a view to acquiring sound and professional expertise and facilities for exchange of view and ideas related to Social Equality. To establish and maintain within specified identified units various centres in Maharashtra to study principles of social equality. To provide and arrange co-operative study and investigation of such principles and for exchange of ideas and experience towards promotion of better understanding among the various section of the society. To establish and maintain centres for research into problems of Social Equality to conduct scientific research in different spheres of National life, related to social equality and justice. To undertake, organize and facilitate study courses, conferences, lectures, seminars symposia to promote aforesaid objectives. To undertake and provide for the publication of books, journals, periodicals, and of research papers in furtherance of the avowed objectives. To co-operate with and co-ordinate and encourage the activities of approved institutions and organizations formed for the furtherance of like objectives. To issue appeals and applications for money and funds in furtherance of the said objectives and to raise or collect funds for the same. To institute, offer and grant prizes, awards, scholarships, stipends in furtherance of the objectives for overall betterment of the larger society.

SALIENT FEATURES Stipend of Rs. 4000/- pm to the selected SC student. Free Book kit, Library, reading room facilities etc. 30% reservation for women candidates. Coaching from Subject Experts, Competent Resource Persons. Test series at regular intervals. Uniformity will be observed throughout the state, in Test Paper for Common Entry Test. Syllabus and Course Contents. Time table. Test Series. Study material for students. Mock Interviews. STUDY PLAN FOR UPSC EXAM. Duration of coaching classes will be of 10 months, th th from 15 July, 2013 to 16 May, 2014. NATURE OF ENTRANCE EXAM. An Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions) examination as per new pattern introduced at UPSC Preliminary Examination consisting of two parts will be conducted. No. of Questions General Studies C-SAT 50 40 Marks 100 100 Time 120 mins. [2 hours]

TOTAL 90 200 Negative marking as per UPSC pattern is rd applicable. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. About our Partner - CTSE Centre For Talent Search and Excellence (CTSE) was established in 1985 in Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune with the objective of inculcating a competitive spirit amongst the school students. This lead to the Maharashtra Talent Search (M.T.S.) project, which aimed at unearthing and identifying hidden talent in the rural and urban students in the schools from Maharashtra. In 2013 this immensely popular MTS examinationwas conducted for about 96,090 students at 622 centres across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Karnataka.

The printout of Duly filled online application form along with examination fee of Rs. 250/-(Cash / DD) should be submitted only to the CTSE, N. Wadia College, Pune either by hand or sent by Indian Postal Services only. Application Forms will not be accepted in CEC, BARTI Office.

Please write your full name and short address on the reverse (back) side of the DD. Candidates can check the status of the application form i.e. whether their applications has been received by the center or not or has been kept pending for any reason etc. on the websites given above.
