It enables to search any entries on the phone or overall searching on the dialing interface with intelligent searching way. For example, if you want to get Mike, only 6453 need to be entered. Then there is a Mike entry. When you want to get someone you dont know his name or number, you could still reach it through remote phonebook which is displayed by departments within simply 3-touch.
