It is therefore not likely to be a translationofalostHebrewversionofAbrahamsSeferhaMoladot(BookofNativities,1148) madebyHenriBateofMalines,aswassuggestedbySela.TheSeferhaMoladotwastranslated twice into Latin, by Peter of Abano around the end of the 13th century (as Liber nativitatum et revolutionumearum)andbyLudovicusdeAnguloin1448(asTractatusdenativitatibus). Significance: the Liber de nativitatibus is extant in at least four manuscripts and one printed edition. Contents: this work explains how to interpret a nativity (birth horoscope) in twelve chapters corresponding to the twelve houses.
