Overall Solo Heavy-Duty Clutch Features: Class 8 on- and off-highway applications. Maintaining release bearing position eliminates the cost of adjustments. No adjustment downtime, more time on the road. Larger drive straps reduce torque and overall adjust conditions. Wear indicator constantly monitors remaining clutch life.
Standard Solo Heavy-Duty Clutch Features: As a fully adjustment-free clutch, the Solo not only stays in constant adjustment giving it extremely long life, but adjusts without the need to incur additional labor costs. Designed for rugged use in Class 8 On- and Off-Highway applications. Exclusive Solo technology maintains proper clutch adjustment to maximize clutch service life. Eliminates an average 13 manual clutch adjustments over the life of the clutch. With a properly adjusted and correctly functioning truck linkage system, the Solo will maintain free pedal in the cab.
The wear indicator tab provides convenient visual indication of remaining clutch life. Normal lube interval is 25,000 miles. A reduction in maintenance and labor costs by eliminating adjustments. Solo baffle technology protects adjustment cams from debris. Stainless steel cam spring increased durability and long life.
Solo XL Heavy-Duty Clutch Features: A Solo Adjustment-Free clutch with all the standard Solo features plus extended lube option. Extended lube intervals up to 50,000 miles for on-highway applications. Heavy-duty steel-backed bushings resist wear for increased service life.
Roller yoke provides smoother operation extending bushing and bearing life. Eliminates an average 13 manual clutch adjustments and 28 lubrications over the life of the clutch further reducing maintenance costs. Solo baffle technology protects adjustment cams from debris.
The Solo XL release bearing housing has also been redesigned to fit the 97-509-10-1X Roller Yoke.
