The Proven All-Weather Search and Rescue Helicopter: The Preferred Choice of SAR Operators
In the most difcult search and rescue (SAR) situations, one thing is for sure: Operators require a fast, high-performance helicopter that can take the heat, or the cold for that matter. Eurocopters allweather EC225 is just the machine for the job. It is the only new generation helicopter designed for all types of SAR and coast guard missions. Whether operating in arctic or equatorial conditions, the EC225 offers superior performance, safety, endurance and range. People in distress? The EC225 arrives fast on the scene, tackling the tightest areas, for quick recovery. It provides an ideal platform for both survivors and crews with its low vibration levels and exceptional comfort. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, such as its outstanding human-machine interface and automatic ight control system (AFCS), pilots have everything they need at their ngertips to perform precise, safe and successful missions. And because the EC225 requires minimal maintenance, pilots can perform costeffective missions, again and again, with absolute condence. Its really no wonder that the EC225 is the preferred choice of SAR operators.
The EC225 boasts top-notch references for SAR and personnel recovery missions.

The EC225 and its military equivalent, the EC725, have benefited from the vast experience accumulated by Super Puma operators in the most demanding SAR missions in more than 30 countries. The EC225 and the EC725 are the result of Eurocopters commitment to continuous improvement and its policy of incoporporating operators suggestions and recommendations. From the outset, the EC725 and its mission system were designed in close collaboration with the French Air Force for the most demanding Combat Search and Rescue (C-SAR) operations. Special care was taken to meet the militarys fundamental requirements, such as to be able to perform rescue missions in enemy territory under the most adverse weather conditions with the lowest level of risk. While integrating demanding military requirements including rescue efficiency, survivability and reliability, Eurocopter also paid close attention to the critical requirements of safety, availability and cost effectiveness related to civil certification and commercial operations. This joint design concept, integrating the most advanced technologies available today, has given birth to the EC725 and the fully-civilian certified EC225.
