    Important Tips
    1. It’s not a battery camera,please plug in with power supply to work.

    2. Cloud storage currently only store videos of motion detection.

    3. We recommend that insert an 8-64G SD card and format the SD card in

    the app before using.Please insert the SD card when the camera is power off.

    Please contact us at support@armidosecurity.com to get a Micro SD card.

    4. Please make sure the network you used in your IP camera and the phone

    are the same one.We suggest that the distance between your phone,router

    and the camera is no more than 8 feet when you're ready to pair the camera.

    5.Please note that the password cannot have spaces.Please avoid using

    special characters such as #, *, &, = in your router WiFi password.

    6.The wireless signal range will depend on the strength of your Router WiFi

    signal.Please try to keep the camera and router in an open room.

    7.After deleted the camera on the Yi loT app.You need to reset the camera if

    you want add the camera again.Please reset the camera by pressing the

    camera reset button for 5s (with small needle) when camera is power on.

    Open the app and choose correct country or region,please use your e-mail

    to sign up a account.

    Check your mailbox to activate your account.Please check your mail spam if

    you can’t see the email.Please login after activated successfully.

    2.Adding Camera to Yi IoT App

    Open the app,click “+“ icon or “Tap here to add your camera”on the main

    screen to add the camera.Please enable location and select WiFi connection.

    Plug camera in with power source to power on the camera,the camera would

    rotate automatically and self-test.You will also hear a two-tone sequence,

    then check “I hear the beep” and click”Next”.

    If you don’t hear the sound,please press the "RESET" on the device,continue

    for more than 5 seconds, until you heard the sequence, that means the reset

    is successful.

    Choose your WiFi network and enter your WiFi password and click “Next”.

    Please note that the password cannot have spaces.Please avoid using special

    characters such as #, *, &, = in your router WiFi password.

    Put the QR code generated by the app in front of the camera lens about

    10-15cm.Keep your phone screen bright and stable,the device emits a

    prompt sound "QR code scan is successful"after about 20 seconds.Then click

    “Next”,It will take 30s-1minutes to complete the connection.You can name

    your camera and start live view.

    Please keep the camera close to the router when connecting to WiFi. You can

    choose a location within your local WiFi range to put the camera after the

    WiFi connection is successful.

    3.App Function Introduction
    3.1 Camera Interface introduce

    3.2 Camera Settings:

    Click the settings icon in the upper right corner of the screen to enter the

    settings page.

    Turn camera on/off: You can switch on/off camera though phone app.

    Camera Settings:

    Click it to set image rotation,

    time zone,night mode,motion

    tracking and so on.

    Camera Name:Click camera name and you can modify your camera name

    according to your demands.

    My Cloud:You can see about your cloud prerogative,cloud space,video

    upload service and subscription service.

    SD card recording:

    You can choose all time recording

    or event recording.

    You can also custom your

    recording schedule.

    Check if the SD card is recognized

    and format the card here.

    The status only be displayed

    after your Micro SD card is

    inserted in the camera.

    Note:Inserting a (8-64G) SD card that support high speed over class 10.

    Please power off the camera before inserting/removing the micro SD card.

    Below is the pictures of reset button and SD card slot.

    Video Playback

    You can playback recordings in the app after SD card is inserted,

    Go to the real time page, recorded video footage is displayed in brown. You

    just need to slide back to check the videos. If you do not see brown parts.

    please remove the card and insert again.

    if you did not insert the SD card.the app would push a 6s video of motion

    detection to your phone when motion detected.

    Smart Detection

    Motion detection:

    Turn on/off motion detection.

    Sensitivity Level: You can adjust

    alarm sensitivity from low to high.

    Alert Frequency:

    Low:The app would only push a

    notification and a video to

    your phone within 10 minutes even

    when several alerts are triggered.

    You can view all notification in the alerts.

    Medium: 5minutes

    High: 3minutes

    Schedule:Usually the motion detection is default to be on all day after you

    turn it on in the settings. But you can also customize the motion detection

    time depending on your needs. You can set at most 3 time period,please

    click "Customize" to set.

    Notification Settings:Enable or disable your app alert notification.

    PIN Protection: Set password to access your camera ensure security.

    Delete:Delete your device on your phone app.

    4.Share Camera

    Click "Profile",then you will enter the following interface.

    1. Click “Share” icon. then you can share camera access with QR Code.

    2. Ask invitees to open YI loT app and click "Profile",press the QR code icon

    in the upper right corner and have your friends scan the QR code.

    3. Sharing camera to max 5 guest accounts.

    Please note that guest accounts can watch video live view and use two-way

    audio,but can not access camera setting page.
