From the point of view of Saint John, the beloved apostle and the
author of this story, we will draw out the objectives for the young
people who continue to seek Jesus and are regarded as the “now” of
the Synodal Church.
The Gospel story from John 21:1-19 are divided into four (4) sessions
in this spiritual journey. Let us be with the disciples as they experience
the appearance of Jesus after he offered his life for all of us even before
we were born.

1
Jesus showed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias;
and he showed himself in this
way. 2 Gathered there together were
Simon Peter, Thomas called the
Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee,
the sons of Zebedee, and two others
of his disciples. 3 Simon Peter said to
them, “I am going fishing.” They said
to him, “We will go with you.”
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. When are the moments where we choose to go back to our old
ways when things get rough and we result in doubting?
(Kailan ‘yung parang umaatras tayo kapag hindi okay ang
nangyayari?)
2. What realities in life have you experienced where you feel like
“this is hard to accept”?
(Ano ang mga moments na ‘mahirap tanggapin’ para sa akin?)
3. How were you able to find a light in this situation? Were there
people who helped during this/these moment/s? (Paano ka
naliwanagan sa nangyaring iyon? May mga tao bang tumulong
sa iyo?)
Activity 1 – MY HAVEN

6
When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his clothes,
for he was stripped for work, and sprang into the sea. 8 But the
other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for
they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off.
9
When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire there, with
fish lying on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the
fish that you have just caught.”
11
So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled
the net ashore, full of large fish, a hundred
and fifty-three of them; and although
there were so many, the net was not
torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and
have breakfast.” Now none of the
disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?”
They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came
and took the bread and gave it to them,
and so with the fish. 14 This was now the
third time that Jesus was revealed to the
disciples after he was raised from the
dead.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS
1. Recall a moment of emptiness and weariness.
a) Am I still at that moment? In what ways will I be able

Never gonna find another like you, yeah! **

If you ever find yourself stuck Some days I feel I'd make a good sunset.
in the middle of the sea, Some days I just don't wanna' give up yet.
I'll sail the world to find you. Some days it's hard to breathe.
If you ever find yourself lost Some days I'm over being me.
in the dark and you can't see, Some days, some days, some days.
I'll be the light to guide you.
Find out what we're made of Some days I try my best to seem happy.
when we are called Some days this place seems
to help our friends in need better off without me.
Some days I'm overwhelmed.
Refrain: Some days I'm lost inside this hell.
You can count on me Some days, some days, some days.
like one, two, three, I'll be there.
And I know when I need it, Some days I wonder what it's like
I can count on you like four, three, to live an ordinary life
two, you'll be there. Maybe I won't feel this way some day.
'Cause that's what friends are
supposed to do, oh yeah, wooh ooh, Some days I feel like everyone hates me.
yeah, yeah. Some days I question,
“Why would God create me?”
If you're tossin` and you're turnin' Some days I'm holding strong.
and you just can't fall asleep, Some days I'm barely hanging on.
I'll sing a song beside you. Some days, some days, some days.
And if you ever forget how much
you really mean to me, Some days I wonder what it's like
Everyday I will remind you...oh to live an ordinary life.
Find out what we're made of Maybe I won't feel this way some day.
when we are called
to help our friends in need. Some days I wonder what it's like
(Refrain) to live an ordinary life.
Maybe I won't feel this way some day.
You'll always have my shoulder
when you cry…
I'll never let go, never say goodbye…
You know, you can…
(Refrain)
