Dear family, In the first three units of Global English 2, learners have explored the themes of schools around the world, neighbourhood and jobs, and active fun and parts of the body. They have used English to interview each other; do class surveys; play games; sing songs; read stories, poems and information texts; and write letters and reports.
Family fun Support your child’s appreciation of becoming bilingual by doing some of these activities together.

your home in English and your home language. • Point out bilingual labelling on food packages and bilingual signs in your neighbourhood. • Talk about how you and other family members and friends use English at work and for fun.
