Three forms of verb
2nd Form → Generally the past form of the verb – Collected, Destroyed,
Earned, Gave.
3rd Form → What is third form of Past participle ‘ed’ ‘en’ present
participle – Collected, Earned, Given
Active – S + V + O
Passive- O+H.v+M.v+by+S
The cricket is played by a girl.
If there is a blank before by use v3rd form.
The research is conducted by a scientist.
If there is any blank after “for/while” you have to use continuous form
of verb i.e + V1 + ing
If there is any blank after “it/which/that – you have to use plural form
of verb (verb with s/es)
In case of passive voice, each and every time, there will be 3rd form of
verb
If there is a blank after has/have been/ had been use 1st form + ing
I will complete the work this afternoon officers can die in the
operation.

If there is any blank after has/have/had use past participle of verb, i.e.

Read the passage in detail and go through the given options. There might be slight
differences in the options provided, making it difficult for you to select the right
option. But, read the sentence before and after filling the blank space to get the
exact choice for the particular sentence.
The words before and after the gaps may give you an idea about the correct
answer. Pay attention to the verb form used for the sentence and make the best use
of your grammatical knowledge to select the right option.
Sometimes the meaning and context of the passage play an essential role in
deciding the answer. And for other times, the use of common collocations can
assist in choosing the appropriate response from the list of options.
Manage your time wisely. Spend less time on the answers that you feel confident
about. Always save your time for the difficult questions and review these questions
at the end for more effective results. Make sure you answer all the questions as
there is no negative marking in this task.
