How to login?

This web application has two levels of authentication for security reasons. In the
first level authentication (User Login), you will be prompted with a dialogue box where
you have to type the user name and password provided to you. In the second level
authentication (Secure Login), you will be prompted to login using your Digital Signature
Certificate (DSC).
User-id and password are case sensitive, & so please be careful while typing the user-id
and password.
TENDER MANAGEMENT
After successful log on, you will be taken to the subsequent form where you can see a
welcome message and menu options on the left side. You have options to Manage Tenders,
Manage Corrigendum, Edit profile, Change Password, Log out etc.
Select the ‘Tender List’ option on the left side. The list of tenders published /
unpublished will be displayed. If you have not published the tender, select the
tender from the list and publish the tender using the option ‘Publish Tender’ option
on the left side. If you want to create a new tender, click on the ‘Create New Call for
Tender’ option.
New tenders for your department can be added through this option. Also it allows you
to add the details of work contract (single / multiple) for a tender. You can upload
tender document, technical document, & add more work items for the same tender.
Unless the tender is published with the ‘Publish tender’ option at the left side, your
tender won’t be visible in the website.
The following form appears when you click on the ‘Create New Call for Tender’
option. The basic details of the tender should be entered here.
The following is a brief description of the basic details to be entered while adding a
tender.
BASIC DETAILS :
Click on ‘Next’. The following form appears where you have to enter the cover details.
COVER DETAILS :
Depending on the no. of covers, the cover details have to be entered. If it is two cover
system, two covers will be displayed. Click on the ‘Contents’ option of the first
cover. The following form will appear.
Select the appropriate Document Type. Enter the Document Description and click
on ‘Save’. Click on Submit. Repeat the same process for the second cover also.
Then click on ‘Next’. The following form appears.
Click on the ‘Upload’ option to upload the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) Document.
Only documents of types pdf and jpg can be uploaded. The following form appears.
Click on ‘Browse’ option to upload the document. Enter the description of the
document and click on ‘Save’. The following form appears.
The document can be verified using the ‘Verify’ option. The following form appears.
Click on the document. When the document is open, check if the document is
correct and click on the ‘Save’ option. The following form appears.
Click on the ‘Add New’ option to add work items (single / multiple). The following
form appears.
Click on ‘Next’ after entering the above details. The following form appears where
the fee details should be entered.
FEE DETAILS :
Click on ‘Next’. The following form appears where the Critical dates should be entered.
CRITICAL DATES :
Click on ‘Next’ after entering the critical dates. The Following form appears. Now
select the bid openers from the Bid openers list. A minimum of three bid openers
should be selected.
BID OPENERS SELECTION :
Click on ‘Submit’.
Now your tender is ready for publishing. You can edit / update your tender before
publishing it. Now click on the ‘Publish Tender’ option in the menu on the left side to
publish your tender. A list of tenders to be published will be displayed. Select the
appropriate tender by clicking on the view option.
Click on the ‘Publish Tender’ option. Your tender has been published. To check if your
tender is published, you can click on the ‘Published Tender’ option in the menu on the
left side of the form. Your tender which is published will be displayed. You can also
check in the main page of the website, http://mahatenders.gov.in about the availability
of the tender published.
