About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React and
Next.js to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building our
system’s frontend from scratch using Next.js and TypeScript. You'll be responsible for
driving the design, architecture, and development of high-quality, responsive, and
scalable web applications. Collaborating closely with UX/UI designers, you will
transform complex design concepts into intuitive, engaging interfaces, ensuring a
seamless and consistent user experience across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead Frontend Development: Drive the design, architecture, and execution of

sophisticated, responsive, and scalable web applications using React and
Next.js.
● Ownership of UI/UX: Oversee the entire frontend codebase, ensuring the
design, development, and maintenance of high-performing and responsive
interfaces across various devices and platforms.
● Elevate User Experience: Work closely with UX/UI designers to convert intricate
design ideas into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that deliver a seamless
experience.
● Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers,
fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and technical excellence within
the team.
● Innovate and Enhance: Stay ahead of industry trends by researching and
applying cutting-edge frontend technologies and methodologies to boost
performance, accessibility, and security.
● Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with backend engineers, product
managers, and designers to ensure synchronized and effective product
development from concept through to deployment.
● Ensure Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Conduct
rigorous code reviews to uphold the highest standards of quality and best
practices.
● Solve Complex Problems: Address and resolve intricate technical challenges
with solutions that balance functionality, performance, and user experience.
● Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the improvement of
development processes and practices, ensuring the team’s work remains agile
and aligned with evolving project needs.
Qualifications
● Extensive Experience: Over 5 years of professional frontend development

experience, with a deep specialization in React and Next.js.
● UX/UI Expertise: Demonstrated ability to create user interfaces that are visually
compelling and functionally effective, enhancing overall user satisfaction.
● Advanced JavaScript Proficiency: Expert in modern JavaScript (ES6+),
including asynchronous programming, state management, and component-based
architecture.
● Performance Optimization: Proven experience in optimizing web applications
for performance, utilizing techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting,
server-side rendering, and performance profiling.
● Version Control and CI/CD: Skilled in version control systems like Git and
well-versed in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to
streamline development and deployment processes.
● Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record
of efficiently diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
● Effective Team Collaboration: Excellent communicator with experience working
effectively in cross-functional teams within Agile environments.
● Frontend Testing Expertise: Knowledgeable in frontend testing frameworks and
tools, such as Jest, Cypress, or similar, to ensure high-quality and reliable code.
● Continuous Learning and Improvement: Commitment to staying current with
emerging technologies and best practices in frontend development, driving
ongoing improvements in skills and processe
Preferred Qualifications
● TypeScript Expertise: Extensive experience with TypeScript in large-scale
projects, ensuring type safety and maintainability.
● Accessibility Standards: Proficient in web accessibility standards and best
practices (WCAG), committed to creating inclusive and accessible web
applications.
● Cloud & DevOps Knowledge: Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS and
Azure, and experienced with DevOps practices to support scalable and efficient
application deployments.
● Open Source Contributions: Actively involved in the open-source community,
particularly in React or related technologies, demonstrating a commitment to
collaboration and continuous learning.
