    1. PURPOSE

    1.1. To ensure that product are free from foreign matters and other floating materials.
    1.2. To ensure product quality by close monitoring and inspection of finished product upon
    production to minimized product contamination.

    2. SCOPE

    2.1. This policy and procedure covers all finished products being manufactured at Kohl Industries
    Corporation.
    2.2. This policy and procedure is applied but not limited to all finished products that are in solution
    form.

    3. RESPONSIBILITY

    3.1. Quality Department Head- Shall be responsible for the final decision making with regards to
    maintaining product quality.
    3.2. Quality Assurance Officer – responsible for the verification of the inspection done by the
    Quality Control.
    3.3. Quality Control Officer – responsible for the inspection of finished goods from the in-process up
    to the filling and packaging of the finished products.
    3.4. Compounder- Responsible for compounding the specific products to be manufactured.
    3.5. Line leader– Shall also be responsible for the checking of finished products while on-going
    production.
    3.6. Production staff/packer - Shall also be responsible for the checking of finished products prior
    final packaging of finished goods

    4. PROCEDURE

    4.1 The Line leader shall inform the Quality Control Officer for the specific product to be run in the
    production area.
    4.2 The compounder will then be compound the products that are scheduled to manufacture on the
    same day.
    4.2 The Quality Control Officer shall check the parameters of bulk products upon in-process testing if
    it passed the criteria and specifications.
    4.3 The production of specific product shall now proceed to filling after inspection of packaging
    materials to be used and after it passed the in-process testing.

    4.4 The Quality Control will inspect the finished product if it has no foreign matters or floaters such
    as dirt, debris, insects etc…
    4.5 The finished product which found to have a foreign matter shall be separated from the good one
    to undergo reprocess.

    4.6 Production/Engineering staff shall check the filter and change if necessary.
    4.7 The Quality Control shall inform the Quality Assurance Officer for further investigation and
    evaluation of the said issues.
    4.8 The Quality Assurance Officer will now report the findings to the Quality Department Head to
    initiate the decision making so as to prevent the recurring of the same issues and findings.

    4.9 The production of the same product will now continue up to the final packaging but with close
    monitoring and inspection of the Quality Control Officer/Quality Assurance Officer.
