Aims of the MK Curriculum

To nurture children holistically, so that they are confident,


demonstrate strong social skills, and have a good
foundation in literacy and numeracy
Intentional design of MK curriculum
Focus on holistic development
Reinforce key knowledge, skills (6 learning areas, 6 learning
and dispositions covered in dispositions) to ensure
flagship programmes & nurture children are ready to move
positive learning dispositions to primary schools, and lay
the foundation for lifelong

P1 Orientation • Virtual orientation online for parents and
pupils as parents not allowed to enter
Matters • Booklist and bookshop details will be
shared at a later date
• Buddy will be assigned to P1 children
during recess
• Only cash transactions allowed in canteen
and bookshop
• Weekly menu of school canteen will be
provided (for pupils with allergies, etc.)
• Primary school teachers will inform
parents on their preferred mode of
contact on the first day of school
