CHAPTER I

INTRODUCTION

An organization is a group of people who work together, like a neighborhood association, a


union or a corporation. Organizational structure refers to the primary reporting relationships
within an organization. Organizational study provides a chance to interact with the manager,
staffs and the labors in the organization. The study also helps to know the practical application
of various learned theories in the organization. The study focuses on how each department
functions in the organization. It also focuses to get familiar with the various functional areas
such as, finance, marketing, HR, etc. the study also places its focus on the general details such
as the nature of the business, industry, ownership details, products and services etc. This study
is based on different aspects and dimensions of different departments of the organization.

SCOPE OF THE STUDY

The study carried out Precision enterprises is mainly focus on the major functional
departments and its functioning. It covered the opinion of managers, employees, and
customers.

FRONTIERS TECHNOLOGIES is an training institute for skill development , which has


been established on 2014 at Puducherry, Frontier technologies refer to innovative advancements
that push the boundaries of what's currently possible in various fields, ranging from science and
engineering to information technology and beyond. These technologies often have the potential to
revolutionize industries, disrupt traditional practices, and create new opportunities

Quality is a way of life at FRONTIERS TECHNOLOGIES believes quality is an ongoing process


and is essentially achieved through an invention of continuous improvement efforts and

For FRONTIERS TECHNOLOGIES, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning: AI

Telecommunication plays a vital role in connecting people, businesses, and communities worldwide,

ELECTRONICS :

Electronics is a branch of physics and engineering that deals with the study and manipulation of
electrical currents and the behavior of electrons in various devices and systems. It encompasses the
design, development, and application of electronic circuits, components, and systems for a wide range
of purposes.
Electronics has revolutionized almost every aspect of modern life, from communication and
entertainment to transportation and healthcare. Advances in electronic technology continue to drive
innovation and shape the way we live, work, and interact with the world around us.

The MD plays a key role in organizational development, including hiring and retaining top talent,

HUMAN RESOURCE PLANNING

HR managers are responsible for planning and achieving organizational objectives. They
usually engage in identifying, preparing, and executing business goals with top-level
executives.

JOB ANALYSIS AND DESIGN

As mentioned above, human resource planning requires assigning the right resources to the
right project. And if the right person is not in the organization, HR managers are responsible
for designing the job analysis to hire them.

HIRING CANDIDATES

Finding and hiring the right talent is a very complex process. Modern HR managers do more
than just post job requirements in portals to fill open positions. They develop strategic
solutions to attract the right candidates to fulfil the demands of the business.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Hiring the best candidates is just half the job. HR managers need to train and upskill them to
maximize their return on investment. The type of training and development new employees
require depends on their experience. For example, if they are freshers, managers might need
to arrange for skill-development training programs to ensure their work meets the industry

The MD is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction and vision of the organization in
collaboration with the board of directors and other key stakeholders.

CONTINUOUS MONITORING AND REPORTING:

Regularly monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency,
quality metrics, and costs. Providing reports and analysis to management to evaluate

CHAPTER 5

OBSERVATIONS

From the study, it is found that the Gross profit and net profits are decreased during the period of
study, which indicates that firm’s inefficient management in manufacturing and trading operations.

• All the respondents (100 Percent) are Giving Respect to the Superiors, Peers and
Subordinates in the Organization.

• Most of the employees are satisfied with the rating of training and development programmer
in the organization.

• From the study, it is found that the management is supporting the innovative ideas of employees.

• The company maintain the attendance data in Excel sheets. It helps to make the salary chart
in the month end.

• It is found that the management is providing good financial incentives (wages and salaries,
bonus, retirement benefits, medical reimbursement) as well as non-financial incentives (job
security, status, Extra leave) to the employees.

• The employees are motivated by giving more of incentives, gifts and festival bonus.

• The employees are allowed to take decisions within the limits of the job destination.

• The company involves in various social activities like conducting medical check-up ,
vaccination camp etc to the workers and common public which is appreciable.

• It is found that, the company does not provide any recreational activities to the employees.
FINDINGS

Frontier technologies refer to cutting-edge innovations and advancements in various fields that have
the potential to significantly impact society. Some key frontier technologies include artificial
intelligence, blockchain, quantum computing, biotechnology, robotics, Internet of Things (IoT),
augmented reality, and more. These technologies are at the forefront of innovation and are continuously
evolving, often transforming industries and driving economic growth. Research institutions,
technology companies, and governments are actively involved in the development and deployment of
frontier technologies to push the boundaries of what is possible and solve complex challenges. By
staying informed about the latest developments in these areas and exploring their applications,
individuals and organizations can harness the power of frontier technologies to drive progress and
create new opportunities.

CONCLUSION

The report gives a brief study of the organizational system and functioning of “FRONTIERS
TECHNOLOGIES”. The report covers the details of various departments of the organization
and them
functioning. Even though there is strong competition, the company has won its position in the
market by providing high satisfaction to the customers, employees and to suppliers.

This study helps me to learn many things including how to retain the customers, how to utilize
the resources, how to make the employees happy, how can a group of people work together as
