STUDENTS’ INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE SCHEMES (SIWES)
Date: 10/06/2024

Dear Sir/Madam,
LETTER OF INTRODUCTION FOR THE 2024/2025 STUDENTS’ INDUSTRIAL WORK
EXPERIENCE SCHEME
This is to inform you that the SIWES exercise of the above-named University for the 2024/2025 academic session
is due to begin, and it is with great pleasure that we register our profound appreciation to you as a supporting
firm/organization in the scheme.
We wish to solicit your support in allowing EGUAHON Mavellous Chukwuemeke of the Department of Creative
Art, with matric number 20220308033, to undertake his/her industrial training experience in your establishment.
The SIWES is an integral aspect of the course requirement for the award of the degree certificate. The scheme
aims to
i. acquaint the students with an on-the-job experience in his/her field of study before graduation,
ii. provide the student with an opportunity to apply his/her knowledge in real work situations, thereby
bridging the gap between the University and the actual practice,
iii. assess the interest of the student in and sustainability for the occupation he/she has chosen,
iv. expose the student to the skills not acquired in the institution,
v. provide access to production equipment not normally available in the University environment, and
vi. expose the students to real-life situations of their chosen career.
The duration of the attachment is 12 weeks commencing from July 29, 2024.
The University would be most grateful if your establishment is willing to accept the student for this industrial
work experience. Please write a letter of acceptance stating the office address on your correspondence letter to
make location easy during supervision. It would be highly appreciated if a report on the student(s) posted to your
organization could be sent to the University at the end of the scheme.
The Coordinator,
SIWES, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State
siwes@tasued.edu.ng or kassimhg@tasued.edu.ng
Thanks for your response and cooperation.
Yours faithfully,

Kassim, H.G. PhD
