ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON SUPREME PUPIL GOVERNMENT


SY 2022-2023

I. Background Information
As a foundation that aids in fostering leadership as well as developing responsibility,
the Department of Education institutionalized the Supreme Pupil Government in all
elementary schools nationwide. This organization, inculcate to the mind of the youth the
cooperation, unity and the sense or spirit of volunteerism where they can improve their
knowledge, skills, attitude, and leadership and become upright, responsible citizens, that will
lead to the success of the nation.

The Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) is a representative body of pupils which holds
the highest power over pupil government – a training ground for young students to hone their
leadership skills and promote learners welfare and excellence. It is a representative structure
for students, through which they can become involved in the affairs of the school, working in
partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and its
students.

Diamantina Elementary School , through Supreme Pupil Government, supports the


programs of DepEd to let school children become active in school and community
involvement that target the following objectives:
1. Develop love of God and country, moral character, personal discipline, leadership
and efficiency among its members.
2. Train members for effective and efficient leadership
3. Help the students develop self-confidence
4. Promote unity among leaders and the studentry
5. Serve and protect students’ rights and welfare
6. Represent the learners of DES in the policy-making body of the school concerning
students’ welfare

II. Program of Activities


The whole teaching staff, led by our Principal William V. Mauricio, EdD had given a
genuine support for the programs and activities that had been carried out since August 2022s
up to the end of the school year.
Mr. Benjamin C. Quilnat Jr, Supreme Pupil Government Coordinator, together with
the Teachers made sure that the programs and activities for this school year lived up to its
objectives.
PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES OF SPG
Month Activities
August 2023- July Shared a bible verse after flag ceremony and give a reflection
2023 about it.
November 2022 Conducted orientation for Child Protection Policy and Anti-
Bullying Policy
November 2022- Conducted peer tutoring to frustration readers
June 2023
August 2022- Assisted in the implementation of 2022 Brigada Eskwela
October 2022
December 2022 Participated in the environment related activities like tree-planting
activity

October 2022-June Lead and monitored pupil’s discipline during flag ceremony
2023 Conducted proper waste management in school premises
January 2023 Conducted school campaign against illegal drugs
August 2022-July Initiated activities in the school in line with the school calendar
2023 like Teacher’s Day Celebration, Christmas Program, Valentine’s
Day and the like.
Initiated in the advocacy or information dissemination of health
safety protocols and how to avoid Covid-19

September 2022- July Participated in the Quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake

III. Conclusion:

With the success of the projects this school year, student leaders had once again
proven themselves worthy of their placement. Through this experience, pupils had acquired
character and leadership skills, entailed effective decision- making, developed organizational
skills that would prepare them for any type of leadership position they may have in the future.
