I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards
The learners demonstrate understanding of how Anglo-American literature and
other text types serve as means of preserving unchanging values in a changing
world; Also, how to use the features of a full-length play, tense consistency,
modals, active/passive construction plus direct and inderect speech to enable
him/her competently performs in a full length play.

B. Performance Standards
The learners competently performs in a full- length play through applying
effective verbal and non-verbal strategies and ICT resources based on the
following criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery and Dramatic Conventions.

Learning Competencies/Objectives:
Cognitive: define the meaning of non-verbal communication;
Psychomotor: perform different non-verbal communication strategies;
and
Affective: demonstrate the usage and importance of non-verbal
communication strategies in delivering speech.

V. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson:
What was our last topic? Our last topic is all about Noun,
ma'am.

Noun is a name of a place, things,


Exactly! And what is Noun? animal, person, and etc.

B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson:


Before we proceed to our lesson, let's have ang
activity first.

The class will group into four. The teacher will


show pictures to the class with different
expressions and gestures. Each group will guess
the meaning the pictures. Each group will write
their answers on na illustration board.

Collaborative Strategy

The class will group into four. The teacher will


show a video to the class. Each group will observe
the video clip. Each group will list all the
strategies on how communicate the people
around him.
