sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore
Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.We implore you on
Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him
we might become the righteousness of God.

Galatians 6:15

Apostle Paul makes an exciting revelation of what God wants to do for each one of us in
2Corinthians 5:17

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come.

This emphatic revelation draws an explicit analogy to the original creation of God which happened
through Lord Yeshua according to the gospel of John.

God created man with His own hands in His own image and likeness and breathed His Spirit into
him to make him a living soul.(Genesis 2:7)

He also gave man His authority to rule over planet earth().

Man lived in the purity and holiness of God enjoying the presence and glory of God till he turned
away from God in disobedience and rebellion and thus

the spirit of man got cut off from God,

the soul of man became a rebel and

the body of man became subject to decay and death.

Having been deceived by Satan , man was dead in transgressions and sins, followed the ways of
this world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air whose spirit who is at work in those who are
disobedient and became by nature objects of wrath.

Ephesians 2:1-7(The condition of the old man)

The results of sin in mankind was irreparable until God in great HIs mercy and love sent His only
Son to the world that whosoever believed in Him would not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

The God who dwelt in unapproachable light ,took on flesh and blood to redeem mankind. He was
pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us
peace was upon Him. By one sacrifice He made perfect forever those who are being made holy.

God reconciled us to Himself through Christ and made us Christ’s ambassadors by giving us the

regulations by nailing it to the cross and having disarmed the powers and authorities of darkness,

God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order

PUT OFF THE OLD SELF AND PUT ON THE NEW SELF.

Ephesisans 4:22-24 explains that the old self corrupted by its deceitful desires has to be
consciously PUT OFF and the new man created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness
has to be PUT ON.

NOW HOW DOES GOD CREATE THE NEW MAN?

The new man is created by God in His great mercy when a person has a personal life changing
encounter with the Lord YEshua which leads to The Salvation Experience- Romans 10:9 where the
person

1) Confesses that Jesus is Lord

2) Believes that God raised Him from the dead.

Thus the new creation is born of God and not of human descent John 1:12,13

The new creation is

3) Born of water and Spirit John 3:5 and

4) Born of imperishable seed of the Word of God 1 Peter 1:23

GOD’S DESIRE FOR THE NEW MAN

8) To have many sons and daughters like Jesus.

God who foreknew man predestined him to be conformed to the image of His Son(Romans8:29).

JOURNERY OF THE NEW MAN

From being born again, God has called the new man to be pure, holy and perfect like Him so that
he can inherit the Kingdom of God , dwell with Him in His glory for the ages to come, rule and
reign with Christ in the New Millenium.

The personal journey begins by dying to the self.

Enroute the journey the new man/creation faces battles against the rulers, authorities, powers of
the dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The counsel of the Lord is to put on the whole armor of God. Ephesians 6:11,12

The end of the journey will be when we meet the Lord when He comes back or calls us home and
as He has counselled the seven churches in the book of Revelation we have to be overcomers in all
aspects to enter His Glory.

COMMANDMENTS FOR THE NEW MAN

1) Love the Lord your God with all your strength

2) Love your neighbour as yourelf.
HOW TO CULTIVATE THE NEW MAN

By yielding and surrendering to the Holy Spirit,

Letting the Holy Spirit show us in the mirror of God’s Word our 2 selves- what we were and what
we will be by God’s grace.

Systematically and progressively denying the demands of the old self and yield instead to the Holy
Spirit’s influence.

Do not be conformed to the world but be transformed in the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2

Offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God as a spiritual act of worship Romans
12:1

The eyes of our hearts be enlightend so that we may know the hope of our calling which is the full
development of the new self in his glorious destiny.

As we are a unique generation living at the end of this dispensation,

The New creation of God lives in the fullness of the Glory of God as the world is being filled with
the knowledge of the glory of God.

Awaits the fulfilment of the promises of God of the glory of the latter house in Haggai 2:7 and and
the global out pouring of the Holy Spirit in Joel 2 .

Advances the Kingdom of God by force and preaches the second coming of Lord Yeshua.

Prepares the way for the second coming of Lord YEshua.
