The Flatiron Building is one of the most famous histpry landmark in New York. The iconic twenty-
one-story building, best known for its triangular shape, was one of the early spectacular high-rises that have
come to define Manhattan.

The Flatiron Building was constructed between 1901 and 1903 at the ntersection of Broadway and
fifth Avenue, at the time one of the most prominent locayiions in New York City. It is stuated near Madison
Square at the end of the ladies’Mile, one Manhattan’s most important shopping districts at the turn of the
nineteenth century.

The Flatiron Building was designed by Chicago’Daniel Burnham as a steel-frame skyscraper clad
in white tercaotta. At 21 stories and 93 meters, it was one of the city’s tallest buildings. Its singular shape
and prominent location soon made it one of New York City’s most famous landmarks.

The building probably featured one more postcards than any other buildings of its time. The whole
area, the Flatiron district, was even named after the building. Originally the Flatiron Building featured an
observation deck on the top floor, but taller buildings have taken over this function. It is still, however, a
popular tourist attraction and one of the most photographed landmarks in New york.

I absolutely loved my 15th birthday. I’ve always wanted to fly in a baloon and the trip by my
grandparents as a present was really fun. Des, the pilot, and colin, the road crew were very professional but
extremely friendly and welcoming.

Flying up, up and away on a hot-air balloon ride is a truly unforgettable experiene like no other. I
enjoy breathtaking views, landmarks, and the wonder of nature from a new and unique perspective as they

The word tornado is from spanish word tronada, which means “thunderstorm”. It is a violent, dangerous,
rotating cloumn oaf air which is in contact wiith both surface of the Earth and cumulonimbus cloud.
Cumulonimbus cloud is a type of cloud that is tall, dense, and involved in thunderstorm and other intense
whether. It is a result of atmosphere instablity.

Tornades come in many sizes but are typically in the form of visible condensation funnel. It is a funel-
shaped cloud of condensed water droplets,associated with a rotating column of wind and extending from the bas

Closely related to horses and donkeys, a zebra is best known for iits black and white striped body. In
fact, zebra stripe patterns unique to each individual. These stripes are believed to be camouflage devices that
help zebras hide well in the grass.

Plains zebras are found on the savannas from Sudan to Nothern Zmbabwe in Eastern Africa. Grevy’s
zebras are now mostly restricted to parts of Northern Kenya. Mountaiin zebras occur in South-western Africa

Once upon a time, in abeautful morning, a hen and her children searched for food in the backyard. There
were many seeds and falling fruits to fullfil their appetite for breakfast. Suddenly, she saw a small moving
objectunder a tree branch not far from the backyard. She came closer and found out that butterfly was stuck under
that branch.

Oh, Hen, can you do me favor to lift this litle branch? It fell on my right wing so I can’t move anywhere,

So, she help the butterfly and succeeded. Unluckily, the butterfly right wng was broken and flying was impossible

passed by and finnaly the butterfly could fly freely with the happiest face ever.

“Thanks Hens, we will be best friends forever from nows on,”the butterflys shouted when flying away.
From that moment, the butterfly and the Hen are still best friend until today. whenever we fin a Hen searching
some food, there must be a butterfly flying around nearby. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
