CASE STUDY

Two farmers Ramkishan and Gurcharan Singh cultivates only three varieties of rice namely Basmati, Permal
and Naura. The Quantity of sale (in Kg) of these varieties of rice by both the farmers in the month of
September and October are given by the following matrices A and B.

47. Find the decrease in sales from September to October.

If Ramakrishan sell the variety of rice (per kg) i.e. Basmati, Permal and Naura at Rs. 30, Rs. 20 & Rs. 10
respectively, While Gurcharan Singh Sell the variety of rice (per kg) i.e. Basmati, Permal and Naura at Rs.
40, Rs. 30 & Rs. 20 respectively.
