Description
The OST Plug-in is a Veritas backup interface that allows intelligent storage devices like the StoreOnce
Systems to work with Veritas NetBackup software. OST provides NetBackup administrators with
advanced capabilities such as optimized duplication, Granular Recovery Technology (GRT), Targeted and
Classic Auto Image Replication (A.I.R.) and Accelerator for File System and VMware backups. The OST
Plug-in is installed on the NetBackup media servers and uses a StoreOnce Catalyst interface to interact
with the StoreOnce Systems.
