STATUTORY CONSTRUCTION

Lyceum of the Philippines University – College of Law

Grading System:

1. Recitation / Quizzes 30%


2. Group (or Individual) Project / Assignments 10%
3. Midterm Examination 30%
4. Final Examination 30%

General Instructions:

1. Read all prescribed cases in the original. There will be random recitations every meeting.
2. Additional cases and reading materials may be assigned during the course of the
semester.
3. No coaching or prompting from classmates. No looking at cases, notes, digests, or other
documents when called to recite.
4. If classes are conducted online, the webcam should be turned on and the microphone
should be on mute. The webcam may be turned off due to problems with the internet
connection. However, the webcam should be turned on at all times when called to recite.
Eyes should only be focused on the webcam. The microphone should only be turned on
when reciting or asking questions.
5. A student called for recitation but is not around for whatever reason shall receive a failing
grade for that recitation.
