Detailed Estimate: A thorough calculation of all costs
involved in a project, considering labor, materials, equipment,
and overheads.

Approximate Estimate: A rough calculation done quickly to

provide a general idea of costs.

Bill of Quantities (BOQ): A detailed list of materials, parts,

and labor with their costs required to complete a construction
project.

Cost Estimating: This involves forecasting the cost of

materials, labor, and other expenses for a construction
project.

Reinstatement Cost Assessment (RCA): This is used to

determine the cost of reinstating a property to its original
condition in case of damage or destruction, often for
insurance purposes.

Valuation Survey: A comprehensive assessment of the

value of a property, considering factors such as location,
size, condition, and market trends.
