I really wish someone makes a proper "program" out of this. My brain melted down when I tried to use
it, and I don't feel like spending an afternoon learning a new coding language to use it.
EDIT: Managed to get it to work :)

Putting this here for reference if anyone in the future reads this: I used the program on Windows 11
Powershell. To download a book I used the Powershell command they gave to download the program,
then "anyflip-downloader anyflip.com/lvtb/iihi" without any <> or ** around the book url, no https:// in
front of the url either. Just gotta replace the last four letters in the command (iihi in my case) with
whatever the url of the book you're downloading has.
The file goes to c:\users\yourname (replace "yourname" with whatever your computer username is)

I have the exact issue the PR's aiming to solve.I read the issue thread and the pull request, but how
can I install the pull request version before the dev compiles it?

Basically I did fork the project, but the manual way XD
The commit only changes one line so follow these steps if anyone needs:
1. First download and extract the original code.

2. Make sure that you have the go tools installed: https://go.dev/doc/install
3. Open configjs.go with a text editor or ide
4. Change line 46 to be the following (on one line):
r := regexp.MustCompile("\"?(bookConfig\\.)?(total)?[Pp]ageCount\"?[=:]\"?\\d+\"?"
5. Then you will need to open the folder in your terminal or powershell
6. Execute command
7. Run with (on mac and linux) or (on
windows)

Couple of corrections, though:

line 46 is lacking a few characters on your reply. When I tried running it, the terminal pointed
that out, so I went to the PR and found the line. It should be as bellow.

Also, to run on Windows, it has to be:
./anyflip-downloader.exe link

Though shouldn't step 5 be "open powershell in the folder" not "open the folder in powershell"
And for people who have never used Powershell before (like myself) to open Powershell in a
folder just open the folder and type in the address bar.

Hi. This makes absolutely zero sense to me. I am new at every single little inch of this and
have zero computer literacy when it comes to programming. There is not a single website that
is capable of downloading from anyflip anymore due to their new policies. I'm trying to get this
pdf downloaded for a friend for something they're working on, could you possibly detail every
instruction required to do this thing from the very beginning?
I'm talking describe how to actually download go tools, how to turn ON the go tools (No idea
where I activate its command center thingy), how the fuck to run the code IN the go tools, and
I'll need in-between steps. For example, what is "the folder" that I am opening in powershell,
where and why I am executing go build, and how I run the anyflip-downloader.exe at the same
time as the go build, or not, as well as where I put all the code I got from the downloader, as
well as helping me find the configjs.go folder because upon download it ceased to exist,
despite promising it in the preview.
Do you see how utterly fucked I am in my lack of knowledge? If you're willing to help, great, if
not, I don't blame you.

I'm not very familiar with github. I did my best to follow your instructions but when I type "go
build" I get the following error "go.mod file not found in current directory or any parent
directory". Any ideas on how to fix?

I installed it with go install and it showed as it downloaded but I cannot find the pdf. Where does it put
the pdf it downloads?

I used this last night and it worked, even though I couldn't find where it puts the PDFs in, I could use
File Explorer's search to find them. But I tried it again today and I can't find it anywhere, even with the
search function. Where does the program put them? I looked all over the Go folder but I can't find
anything, and the search doesn't get me anything either. The command box didn't return any errors
and it seemed to download just fine, just can't find the PDF now.

It doesn't seem to include the OCR data inside of the pdf. Just the images, basically.
