Homework has always been a dreaded task for students, but imagine having to complete assignments

without the convenience of technology. This was the reality for students in the Stone Age, where
writing and studying materials were limited to stone and animal hides. As we learn about this
primitive time period, it's important to understand the difficulties that came with completing
homework.

The Limitations of Writing Materials

In the Stone Age, writing was done on stone tablets using primitive tools. This made the process of
writing and erasing incredibly difficult and time-consuming. Imagine having to carve out each letter
and word on a heavy stone tablet, only to realize you made a mistake and have to start all over again.
This was a common struggle for students in the Stone Age, making homework a daunting and
tedious task.

Access to Information
In today's world, we have access to endless amounts of information at our fingertips. However, in
the Stone Age, information was limited to what was passed down through oral traditions or what
could be found in nature. This made research and studying for homework assignments a difficult and
lengthy process.
