A message about Bunny Brunch

Sunday March 17, we will be showing our support for 14 month old Sutton Aherns and his family at the
Bunny Brunch immediately after the 8:15 Mass. Enjoy a ham sandwich, cheesy potatoes, applesauce,
cheese, relishes, homemade desserts and a beverage at the cost of $8 adult, $5 children age 3-9 and free
for 2 and under. EVERY child 9 and under will receive a free stuffed bunny! Face painting, crafts, guessing
games and a visit from “Live” Easter Bunnies for the kids. What can you do? First and most importantly,
pray for this little guy and his family! Second you can attend the brunch, donate a raffle basket or dessert,
donate your time to help with the brunch, or make a monetary donation. We can use help setting up, taking
down and working at the brunch. Want to donate a raffle basket? Please leave it at the parish or school
office or the sacristy after Mass with your name on it. Questions please contact Mary Bowe at
920-960-5533. Thanks for your support—Mary Bowe, Joanne Blatz and Kathy Gellings—Bunny Brunch

● Grades 5-8 completed Unit 3 out of the 5 in the Blessed are We Series, along with a chapter on
Lent prior to Ash Wednesday. Since then, all grades 5-8 have completed 6 out of 10 lessons in
Family Life.
● The Family Life Series, is being heavily supplemented with the CCC for 6-8 grade as we look
into some of the questions that come up in Family Life. The 7th/8th grade also studied parts of
Pope Benedict XVI Encyclical, Deus Caritas est - “God is Love”. As we discover what authentic
good love is.
● Our Family Life studies are also benefiting from the fact that the Holy Church has dedicated this
month to the Holy Family. So grades 5-8 are all looking closely at the Holy Family as we try to
model our lives after theirs. We will have Reconciliation prior to Easter.
● This Lent 4th-8th grades are taking turns leading the Stations of the Cross for each other in the
Church at 2:30 every Wednesday afternoon.
● Students enjoyed an inspiring morning with Franki Moscato, who talked about her faith and how
important it is to practice kindness to others.
