MAINTENACE COURSE (RBUS)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

LEARNING OBJECTIVES DURATION


After the course the successful participant is able to: 27 hours
• Explain the functionality of the K-Chief 700 system
including main system components and hardware NO. OF PARTICIPANTS

• Perform maintenance and fault-finding on the K-Chief
700 system SPECIAL INFORMATION
The course is relevant for RBus solutions (AIM 8.x)be run as a
TARGET GROUP tailor made course for one specific customer.
Electronic technicians, electricians, and maintenance
personnel onboard. This course can also be run as a tailor made course for one
specific customer.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• K-Chief 700 Step 1 - System Introduction LANGUAGE
• Course ID 16-01-001 English if not otherwise agreed.
• General knowledge of electronics
ASSESSMENT
CONTENT NA
• Introduction to K-Chief 700 and K-safe
• System overview CERTIFICATE
• System components Certification of attendance will be issued upon completion
• System documentation of the course.
• Loop typicals
• Serial line theory
• I/O configuration
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of hardware
• Troubleshooting through practical exercises

LEARNING PROCESS
The training will be a combination of theoretical lessons
and practical exercises. Focus will be on hardware design,
location of components, system fault-finding, diagnostic BOOKING & INFORMATION
tools and maintenance. Each participant will be using a www.km.kongsberg.com/training
stand-alone operator station and simulated process stations
during the course. For more practical exercises, a separate
lab including relevant hardware components will be used. TERMS & CONDITIONS
